Why Onida ACs Need the Right Technician

Onida has a long history in Indian homes, and plenty of its air conditioners are still in daily use. We keep them running with thorough cleaning, electrical checks and genuine or quality-matched spare parts.

What We Do for Onida ACs in Canning

• Compressor diagnosis: testing of windings, starting components and running current before any compressor is declared faulty.
• Copper piping and drain work: proper flaring, brazing and insulation so there are no leaks or sweating pipes later.
• Gas refilling with leak repair: we trace the leak point, repair it, vacuum the system and then charge refrigerant to the correct pressure for your model.
• Sensor and thermostat faults: replacement of room and coil temperature sensors that cause the AC to cut off early or run non-stop.
• Installation and uninstallation: proper mounting, copper pipe routing, vacuuming, drain slope and electrical connections for new or shifted units.
• AC shifting within Canning: we pump the gas down into the outdoor unit before removal so it is not wasted during the move.
• Remote and display problems: fixing receiver boards, display panels and remote pairing issues.

Is Your Onida AC Showing Any of These Issues?

• Not cooling enough: usually a dirty coil, clogged filter, low refrigerant or a weak capacitor.
• Outdoor unit not starting: the indoor fan runs but no cooling comes, because the outdoor side is not switching on.
• Loud or unusual noise: clicking, rattling or buzzing that was not there before.
• Bad smell from the vents: a musty smell is a clear sign the indoor unit needs deep cleaning.
• High electricity bills: dirty coils and low gas force the compressor to run longer.
• Error code or blinking lights: we read the code for your specific model and test the part it refers to.
• Remote not working: the AC stops responding to commands even with fresh batteries.

Local Conditions and Your AC in Canning

ACs in Canning, West Bengal deal with both high temperatures and heavy humidity. A clean coil and a clear drain line are what keep a Onida AC cooling well and smelling fresh, so those are the first things our technicians check.

Simple Tips to Keep Your Onida AC Running Well

• Run the fan mode for a few minutes before switching off to help dry the coil.
• Do not agree to a gas top-up without a leak check; gas does not get used up on its own.
• Switch off the AC from the remote before turning off the mains supply.
• Keep curtains drawn in rooms that get strong afternoon sun.
• Set the temperature around 24°C; it cools comfortably and saves power.
• Keep the outdoor unit in a shaded, open spot with space for air to flow.
