Godrej AC Service Services in Mamit

Mr Service Expert provides doorstep Godrej AC repair and maintenance in Mamit, Mizoram. Whether you need a pre-summer jet wash, a gas leak traced and sealed or a new unit installed, our team covers it with pricing agreed before any work starts.

Godrej AC Services Available at Your Doorstep

Every visit starts with a proper check. Depending on the fault, the work can include:

• Noise and vibration repair: rattling, humming or grinding sounds traced to their source and fixed properly.
• Installation and uninstallation: we install split and window ACs with the correct bracket, level indoor unit and a vacuumed refrigerant circuit.
• Compressor diagnosis: testing of windings, starting components and running current before any compressor is declared faulty.
• Sensor and thermostat faults: if your AC stops cooling before the room is cool, a faulty sensor is often the reason.
• Regular service and jet wash: foam or high-pressure water cleaning of the indoor coil, filters, blower and drain tray, along with a wash of the outdoor condenser.
• AC shifting within Mamit: we pump the gas down into the outdoor unit before removal so it is not wasted during the move.
• Copper piping and drain work: replacing damaged copper pipes, re-insulating lines and extending drain pipes where needed.
• Water leakage fix: we clear the drain line and check why water is backing up, whether it is dirt, slope or a frozen coil.

About Godrej AC Servicing

Godrej was one of the early brands in India to use the hydrocarbon refrigerant R290 in room ACs. R290 is energy efficient and eco-friendly, but it is flammable, so gas charging and leak repair need a technician trained to handle it safely. Our team follows the correct procedure for R290 as well as other refrigerants.

Is Your Godrej AC Showing Any of These Issues?

• Error code or blinking lights: the unit's self-diagnosis pointing to a sensor, board or communication fault.
• Remote not working: the AC stops responding to commands even with fresh batteries.
• High electricity bills: dirty coils and low gas force the compressor to run longer.
• Outdoor unit not starting: the indoor fan runs but no cooling comes, because the outdoor side is not switching on.
• Bad smell from the vents: mould and bacteria on a wet, dirty coil, cleared with a proper service.
• Loud or unusual noise: loose panels, a worn fan motor or a vibrating outdoor unit.
• Ice forming on pipes or coil: low gas, restricted airflow or a faulty sensor.

Keeping Your AC Healthy in Mamit

The humid climate and heavy rainfall in Mamit mean AC coils stay damp for long periods, which can lead to mould, smells and choked drains. Regular cleaning keeps the air healthy and the cooling strong.

AC Care Tips from Our Technicians

A few simple habits between services go a long way:

• Switch off the AC from the remote before turning off the mains supply.
• Do not agree to a gas top-up without a leak check; gas does not get used up on its own.
• Use a suitable stabilizer if your area sees frequent voltage fluctuations.
• Keep curtains drawn in rooms that get strong afternoon sun.
• Close doors and windows while the AC runs so it does not overwork.
• Clean or rinse the indoor filters every two weeks during heavy use.
