Frequently asked questions

Everything about Lloyd AC service in Mylliem

Do you use genuine spare parts for Lloyd ACs?

Yes, where available. When a genuine part is not in stock, we offer a quality-matched alternative and let you decide.

Do you refill gas in Lloyd ACs?

Yes. We first find and repair the leak, then vacuum the system and charge refrigerant to the correct level for your model. A top-up without fixing the leak only works for a short time.

How much does Lloyd AC service cost in Mylliem?

Charges vary between a regular service, gas charging and part replacement. You will always get the price before work begins. Call 9311587715 for current rates in Mylliem.

Why is water leaking from my Lloyd AC indoor unit?

Most often the drain pipe is blocked or the indoor unit is not sloped correctly. An iced coil can also cause dripping when it melts. We clear and correct the drain during the visit.

Do you service ACs on weekends in Mylliem?

Yes, we work on Saturdays and Sundays too, subject to availability. Booking early helps during peak summer.

Lloyd offers value-focused inverter split and window ACs that are widely used in Indian homes. We service Lloyd units thoroughly and repair cooling, leakage and electrical faults at reasonable cost.

Lloyd AC Services We Offer in Mylliem

Here is what we can take care of during a visit:

  • Remote and display problems: when the AC does not respond to its remote, we check the receiver, display board and remote itself.
  • PCB and electrical repair: diagnosis and repair of indoor and outdoor control boards, wiring, relays and power supply faults.
  • Noise and vibration repair: tightening loose panels, fixing worn fan bearings and correcting outdoor unit mounting.
  • Gas refilling with leak repair: we trace the leak point, repair it, vacuum the system and then charge refrigerant to the correct pressure for your model.
  • Regular service and jet wash: deep cleaning of filters, cooling coil, blower wheel and drain line so air flows freely and the room cools faster.
  • Annual maintenance plans: a planned maintenance schedule that keeps multiple units in shape without you having to remember dates.
  • Installation and uninstallation: proper mounting, copper pipe routing, vacuuming, drain slope and electrical connections for new or shifted units.
  • Inverter AC repair: inverter ACs are more electronic than older units, so we test sensors and boards step by step.

AC Care Tips from Our Technicians

  • Keep the outdoor unit in a shaded, open spot with space for air to flow.
  • Keep curtains drawn in rooms that get strong afternoon sun.
  • Clean or rinse the indoor filters every two weeks during heavy use.
  • Do not agree to a gas top-up without a leak check; gas does not get used up on its own.
  • Run the fan mode for a few minutes before switching off to help dry the coil.
  • Switch off the AC from the remote before turning off the mains supply.

Keeping Your AC Healthy in Mylliem

In Mylliem, Meghalaya, humidity is often a bigger problem than heat. A Lloyd AC in good condition removes that moisture efficiently, but only if the coil and drain line are clean. Our service focuses on exactly that.

Lloyd AC Faults We Repair Regularly

Call us if you notice any of these:

  • Ice forming on pipes or coil: low gas, restricted airflow or a faulty sensor.
  • Error code or blinking lights: we read the code for your specific model and test the part it refers to.
  • Loud or unusual noise: loose panels, a worn fan motor or a vibrating outdoor unit.
  • High electricity bills: dirty coils and low gas force the compressor to run longer.
  • AC turning off by itself: the unit shuts down after a few minutes and restarts later.
  • Bad smell from the vents: mould and bacteria on a wet, dirty coil, cleared with a proper service.
