Dust, heat and long hours of use slowly choke the filters and coils of any AC. For Blue Star AC owners in Vythiri, we offer thorough servicing and fault repair so the unit keeps cooling properly right through the season. Bookings are open on 9311587715, including weekend slots.
About Blue Star AC Servicing
Blue Star has a long history in both commercial and residential cooling in India. We service Blue Star split, window and inverter ACs and handle the faults that commonly come up with heavy daily use.
What We Do for Blue Star ACs in Vythiri
Our technicians handle the full range of Blue Star AC work in Vythiri, including:
- Regular service and jet wash: a thorough clean of both indoor and outdoor units using covers and a jet pump, so dirt goes into the bag and not onto your walls.
- Remote and display problems: when the AC does not respond to its remote, we check the receiver, display board and remote itself.
- PCB and electrical repair: component-level checks on the PCB before replacement, which often saves a significant amount of money.
- Fan motor and capacitor replacement: repair or replacement of indoor blower motors, outdoor fan motors and weak run capacitors.
- Annual maintenance plans: a planned maintenance schedule that keeps multiple units in shape without you having to remember dates.
- Copper piping and drain work: replacing damaged copper pipes, re-insulating lines and extending drain pipes where needed.
- Gas refilling with leak repair: instead of a blind top-up, the leak is found and sealed first, then refrigerant is charged to the recommended level.
- AC shifting within Vythiri: careful gas recovery, uninstallation, transport-ready packing and reinstallation at your new address.
- Installation and uninstallation: we install split and window ACs with the correct bracket, level indoor unit and a vacuumed refrigerant circuit.
Is Your Blue Star AC Showing Any of These Issues?
Call us if you notice any of these:
- Water dripping indoors: a choked drain pipe, wrong indoor unit slope or an iced-up coil.
- Error code or blinking lights: we read the code for your specific model and test the part it refers to.
- AC tripping the MCB: repeated tripping should be checked quickly to avoid damage.
- Ice forming on pipes or coil: frost on the copper pipes is a sign the system is not balanced.
- Loud or unusual noise: clicking, rattling or buzzing that was not there before.
- High electricity bills: an AC that runs for hours without cutting off wastes a lot of power.

Local Conditions and Your AC in Vythiri
Humidity in Vythiri, Kerala makes an AC work hard to remove moisture, and moist coils attract mould if they are not cleaned. Coastal air can also corrode outdoor units, so we inspect them for early signs of rust and leaks.
AC Care Tips from Our Technicians
- Switch off the AC from the remote before turning off the mains supply.
- Do not agree to a gas top-up without a leak check; gas does not get used up on its own.
- Clean or rinse the indoor filters every two weeks during heavy use.
- Keep curtains drawn in rooms that get strong afternoon sun.
- Keep the outdoor unit in a shaded, open spot with space for air to flow.
- Run the fan mode for a few minutes before switching off to help dry the coil.
