Godrej AC Services Available at Your Doorstep
- Remote and display problems: when the AC does not respond to its remote, we check the receiver, display board and remote itself.
- Installation and uninstallation: proper mounting, copper pipe routing, vacuuming, drain slope and electrical connections for new or shifted units.
- Compressor diagnosis: testing of windings, starting components and running current before any compressor is declared faulty.
- Fan motor and capacitor replacement: repair or replacement of indoor blower motors, outdoor fan motors and weak run capacitors.
- AC shifting within Wokha: we pump the gas down into the outdoor unit before removal so it is not wasted during the move.
- Water leakage fix: we clear the drain line and check why water is backing up, whether it is dirt, slope or a frozen coil.
- Noise and vibration repair: tightening loose panels, fixing worn fan bearings and correcting outdoor unit mounting.
- Annual maintenance plans: a planned maintenance schedule that keeps multiple units in shape without you having to remember dates.
- PCB and electrical repair: component-level checks on the PCB before replacement, which often saves a significant amount of money.
Why Godrej ACs Need the Right Technician
Godrej was one of the early brands in India to use the hydrocarbon refrigerant R290 in room ACs. R290 is energy efficient and eco-friendly, but it is flammable, so gas charging and leak repair need a technician trained to handle it safely. Our team follows the correct procedure for R290 as well as other refrigerants.
Simple Tips to Keep Your Godrej AC Running Well
You can avoid many breakdowns with a little care:
- Clean or rinse the indoor filters every two weeks during heavy use.
- Run the fan mode for a few minutes before switching off to help dry the coil.
- Use a suitable stabilizer if your area sees frequent voltage fluctuations.
- Set the temperature around 24°C; it cools comfortably and saves power.
- Get a full service before summer starts, not after the AC begins to struggle.
- Close doors and windows while the AC runs so it does not overwork.
Signs Your Godrej AC Needs Attention
Each of these has a clear cause that our technicians can find:
- Loud or unusual noise: clicking, rattling or buzzing that was not there before.
- Not cooling enough: usually a dirty coil, clogged filter, low refrigerant or a weak capacitor.
- Bad smell from the vents: a musty smell is a clear sign the indoor unit needs deep cleaning.
- Ice forming on pipes or coil: frost on the copper pipes is a sign the system is not balanced.
- Remote not working: receiver board faults, display issues or a damaged remote.
- High electricity bills: an AC that runs for hours without cutting off wastes a lot of power.
- Error code or blinking lights: we read the code for your specific model and test the part it refers to.
