Our Blue Star AC Repair and Service Options
- Copper piping and drain work: proper flaring, brazing and insulation so there are no leaks or sweating pipes later.
- Remote and display problems: when the AC does not respond to its remote, we check the receiver, display board and remote itself.
- Installation and uninstallation: we install split and window ACs with the correct bracket, level indoor unit and a vacuumed refrigerant circuit.
- Annual maintenance plans: scheduled service visits through the year for homes and offices with one or more Blue Star ACs.
- Gas refilling with leak repair: instead of a blind top-up, the leak is found and sealed first, then refrigerant is charged to the recommended level.
- Sensor and thermostat faults: if your AC stops cooling before the room is cool, a faulty sensor is often the reason.
- Regular service and jet wash: a thorough clean of both indoor and outdoor units using covers and a jet pump, so dirt goes into the bag and not onto your walls.
- AC shifting within Basantpur: we pump the gas down into the outdoor unit before removal so it is not wasted during the move.
- Compressor diagnosis: we check the capacitor, overload and wiring first, because many so-called compressor failures are actually cheaper parts.

How to Get Better Cooling from Your Blue Star AC
A few simple habits between services go a long way:
- Run the fan mode for a few minutes before switching off to help dry the coil.
- Use a suitable stabilizer if your area sees frequent voltage fluctuations.
- Set the temperature around 24°C; it cools comfortably and saves power.
- Do not agree to a gas top-up without a leak check; gas does not get used up on its own.
- Keep curtains drawn in rooms that get strong afternoon sun.
- Switch off the AC from the remote before turning off the mains supply.
Signs Your Blue Star AC Needs Attention
- Ice forming on pipes or coil: low gas, restricted airflow or a faulty sensor.
- Outdoor unit not starting: often a capacitor, contactor or wiring issue between indoor and outdoor units.
- Error code or blinking lights: the unit's self-diagnosis pointing to a sensor, board or communication fault.
- Not cooling enough: usually a dirty coil, clogged filter, low refrigerant or a weak capacitor.
- AC turning off by itself: the unit shuts down after a few minutes and restarts later.
- Water dripping indoors: a choked drain pipe, wrong indoor unit slope or an iced-up coil.
- Loud or unusual noise: loose panels, a worn fan motor or a vibrating outdoor unit.
Keeping Your AC Healthy in Basantpur
Air conditioners in Basantpur, Bihar deal with extreme heat and plenty of dust. A clogged outdoor condenser forces the compressor to work harder, so we pay special attention to cleaning it. We also check wiring and voltage, since fluctuations can damage PCBs and compressors.
