When a Onida AC stops cooling on a hot afternoon, you want someone reliable at the door quickly. Our team in Shirpur attends Onida AC complaints for split, window and inverter models, and explains what is wrong in plain language before any repair begins.
Onida AC Services We Offer in Shirpur
We cover both routine care and complex repairs for Onida AC owners:
- AC shifting within Shirpur: we pump the gas down into the outdoor unit before removal so it is not wasted during the move.
- Inverter AC repair: diagnosis of inverter boards, sensors and variable-speed compressors using the model's error codes.
- PCB and electrical repair: component-level checks on the PCB before replacement, which often saves a significant amount of money.
- Installation and uninstallation: proper mounting, copper pipe routing, vacuuming, drain slope and electrical connections for new or shifted units.
- Fan motor and capacitor replacement: a weak capacitor is one of the most common reasons an outdoor fan or compressor struggles to start, and it is a quick fix.
- Annual maintenance plans: a planned maintenance schedule that keeps multiple units in shape without you having to remember dates.
- Gas refilling with leak repair: pressure testing, leak sealing and a measured refrigerant charge, so the cooling lasts and the gas does not run out again in weeks.
- Sensor and thermostat faults: replacement of room and coil temperature sensors that cause the AC to cut off early or run non-stop.
- Water leakage fix: cleaning blocked drain pipes, correcting the indoor unit slope and fixing damaged drain trays.
About Onida AC Servicing
Onida ACs are found in many homes, including window and split units that have been running reliably for years. Older units need a little more care, especially around capacitors, fan motors, copper joints and gas levels, and our technicians know what to check first.

Keeping Your AC Healthy in Shirpur
Hot summers and sticky monsoons in Shirpur mean your AC is doing two jobs: cooling the room and pulling moisture out of the air. Regular servicing keeps it efficient at both and prevents water leakage and musty smells.
How to Get Better Cooling from Your Onida AC
You can avoid many breakdowns with a little care:
- Do not agree to a gas top-up without a leak check; gas does not get used up on its own.
- Run the fan mode for a few minutes before switching off to help dry the coil.
- Clean or rinse the indoor filters every two weeks during heavy use.
- Switch off the AC from the remote before turning off the mains supply.
- Use a suitable stabilizer if your area sees frequent voltage fluctuations.
Common Onida AC Problems We Fix
- AC tripping the MCB: an electrical fault, short circuit or a compressor drawing too much current.
- Water dripping indoors: water on the wall or floor usually points to a blocked drain line.
- AC turning off by itself: the unit shuts down after a few minutes and restarts later.
- Ice forming on pipes or coil: low gas, restricted airflow or a faulty sensor.
- Loud or unusual noise: loose panels, a worn fan motor or a vibrating outdoor unit.
- High electricity bills: dirty coils and low gas force the compressor to run longer.
- Bad smell from the vents: mould and bacteria on a wet, dirty coil, cleared with a proper service.
